Thanks to strong year-end giving, Wilshire ended 2025 with a financial surplus of $369,507. Our budget for 2025 was $3,955,000, and revenue through Dec. 31 totaled $4,052,293. Expenses for the year came in under budget at $3,682,786.

As of Nov. 30, 2025, Wilshire needed $1,123,684 by year-end to meet budgeted income and $800,000 to cover estimated expenses for the year. The church met both goals, receiving $1,206,021 during December.

In a Jan. 2 email to the congregation, Senior Pastor Timothy Peoples wrote, “Thank you for your love, dedication and faithful support in making this year’s budget possible. But more than that, thank you for believing in a God who is able.”

In our Unified Budget approach, funds received over the budget are applied at the discretion of the Finance Committee. Plans for the surplus and a proposed 2026 budget 2026 will be shared at our Annual Church Conference on Jan. 18.
