Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry pairs trained lay people with individuals in need of Christian companionship during times of life crisis such as:
- Loss of a loved one
- Hospitalization
- Divorce or separation
- Loneliness or discouragement
- Spiritual crisis
- Unemployment of job crisis
- Terminal illness
- Incarceration
- Aging
- Birth, adoption, miscarriage or infertility
- Chronic illness
- Relocation
- Recovery after an accident or disaster
- Many other life challenges
Stephen Ministry is confidential. The identity of those receiving care and everything they discuss with a Stephen Minister remain private. You do not need to be a Wilshire member to receive care from a Wilshire Stephen Minister.
