Over the past few months, Wilshire’s Visioning Team has been prayerfully and thoughtfully working on how to answer one of the first questions in this process: who are we as a church? Our congregation is continually evolving, and rather than assuming we know everything there is to know, we want to hear directly from you.
On Friday, Sept. 4, we will launch a Visioning Survey. You will receive a link via email to take the survey online, and paper copies will be available in the church office.
On Sunday, Sept. 13, we will host Visioning Day at Wilshire. There will be opportunities that morning and after church for you to participate in focus group discussions about Wilshire. For those who can’t be here that day or who attend virtually, we are planning details for virtual participation.
We have also launched a new web page at wilshirebc.org/visioning. We hope you’ll visit this page to better understand our team’s purpose and explore information on our process. We’ll post updates along the way, and there will also be a place for you to submit questions and ideas. You can also email us anytime at visioning@wilshirebc.org.
