Youth Choir Spaghetti Lunch & Silent Auction
Head to Community Hall after 11 a.m. worship on March 1 for a favorite annual event, the Youth Choir Spaghetti Lunch and Silent Auction. This event will help fund the group’s summer trip to Kansas City to sing, serve and sightsee.
Why it’s needed
The cost of choir tour is about $1,800 per student. One-third of this amount is covered by choir parents. Today’s event provides scholarships and helps offset the remainder of the cost to relieve pressure on the Unified Budget.
How it works
• Donate any amount for lunch and bid on auction items.
• You don’t have to be present when the auction closes to win. Cash/check/credit accepted.
• The auction will open at 9:30 a.m. so you can stop by and bid before or after Sunday School.
• Can’t make it to lunch? Make an online donation to Youth Choir tour.
Auction highlights
• Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Dallas Mavericks tickets.
• “Stylin’ with T” includes custom Converse sneakers and Warby Parker glasses from Senior Pastor Timothy Peoples.
• Babysitting, VBS transportation, swim lessons and more offered by youth.
• Monthly coffee subscription, portrait sessions, Sip & Sew embroidery class, Mahjong lessons, sign-and-go events; one-week Caribbean condo stay; limited-edition embroidered Wilshire 75th ornaments.
