Spring Valley Elementary Support

Wilshire is supporting RISD’s Spring Valley Elementary during Field Day and Teacher Appreciation Week this May. Our own Shana Gaines serves as Assistant Principal at SVE.

Notes of gratitude may be completed or dropped off at tables located in James Gallery and outside the Main Office through Sunday, May 5. Our goal is to collect at least 130 notes.

Field Day provides the most significant way we can support them by providing classroom coverage from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 10, so the staff may share a meal together. Staff will remain on-site, and volunteers will provide supervision in classrooms while students eat lunch and participate in an activity. Spanish speakers are particularly helpful for younger age groups, but not required. Sign up via the SignUpGenius link below.
