BWIM Documentary Screening and Conversation

Wilshire will host Baptist Women in Ministry for a documentary screening and conversation on Monday, April 22, at 6 p.m. in Community Hall. The film, Midwives of a Movement, chronicles the story of women who boldly birthed a movement to seek more visibility and leadership opportunities for women in Baptist life. Through heartfelt stories, painful anecdotes, profound insights and lighthearted remembrances, the documentary will inspire continued confrontation of patriarchy and advocacy for equality and equity among Baptists. BWIM Executive Director Meredith Stone will facilitate a conversation; other panelists to be announced.
