Online search
Wilshire’s library software allows users to look up items in the online catalog and even reserve books online and pick them up at the church.
Logging in is only necessary to reserve books. You can peruse the library without logging in. For Wilshire members and current users of the library, your user name is your first name, and your PIN is your last name. Please contact Librarian Barbara Peterson with issues or to be added to the system.
Library policies
All materials may be checked out for three weeks.
Children’s books on display outside the north entrance door to the preschool may be checked out on the self-check computer.
Books for adults are also on display at the third-floor coffee bar and may be checked out on the self-check computer at that location.
Volunteer in the Library
The library is staffed largely by volunteers. Volunteer applications are available in the library and are reviewed by the Library Committee. Volunteers should have basic computer skills and a desire to serve Library users of all ages. The Library is managed by a church-elected committee with a rotating membership. Stop by or contact Barbara Peterson if interested in volunteering.
