Tell us about your family.
I’ve been married to Charlie Fuller for 44 years. We have two adult daughters and four grandchildren.

How about your work or volunteer life?
I was a stay-at-home mother for our three daughters (birth to preschool years) and taught private piano and voice lessons in our home. After the completion of my master’s degree and our move to Arkansas, I taught piano, voice and elementary music methods courses at Ouachita Baptist University for 17 years. I also accompanied the Ouachita Singers and was a collaborative pianist for guest artists, faculty and student recitals. I’ve been a church musician for over 50 years, playing piano and organ, singing in choir, playing handbells and directing children’s choirs. I also had the privilege to serve as organist and assistant pianist for The CenturyMen for 10 years. I currently serve alongside Charlie on the Garland School of Social Work Board of Advocates at Baylor University.

Any favorite hobbies?
In my retirement, I enjoy making music, reading, binge-watching programs, playing games on my iPad, yoga, water aerobics, walking our five-year-old Corgi, Scout, and being available to visit or help out family members and friends.

What are your favorite places to travel?
I’ve traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Cuba, Mexico, the Bahamas, South Africa and China. My European travels have included visits to England, Scotland, Wales, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Most of these trips were choir tours! Charlie and I enjoy baseball and visiting ballparks as we travel. Post-COVID, I enjoy traveling in our RV van with Charlie and Scout.

What brought you to Wilshire and when?
I joined in March 2024 when Charlie began his position as Director of Pathways to Ministry and Coach in Residence.

Where are you engaged at Wilshire?
I’m a member of Epiphany Class and Sanctuary Choir and volunteer as a substitute organist, choir accompanist and handbell ringer.

What do you think God is up to in your life right now?
God continues to help me learn to relinquish control, embrace change and live more in the present — three great challenges to me!

What adjectives best describe you?
I’m a loyal, introverted optimist.
