Faith Commons: Two Peoples, One Land
Two Peoples, One Land: What Americans Can Do to Promote Peace in Israel and Palestine will be the theme of a discussion presented by Faith Commons on Monday, June 9, at 7 p.m. in Community Hall. The panelists will be Rania Batrice, the daughter of Palestinians and a voice for Palestinian self-determination; Nmir Ikram, a Plano doctor who has volunteered in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023; and Rabbi Nancy Kasten of Faith Commons. Faith Commons, a nonprofit founded by Wilshire’s Senior Pastor Emeritus George Mason, promotes public discourse rooted in the common values of many faiths.
