Summer Lunch & Learn

During the summer months there are three special opportunities to learn about and help our mission partners.

Wednesday, June 26
Hope Cottage, 11 a.m.–1:15 p.m. 
Join us for a field trip to Hope Cottage to learn how this nonprofit transforms lives through adoption, foster care, education and parenting support. Carpool from the church. Lunch provided by Hope Cottage.

Wednesday, July 17
Community Hall, 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.
It’s Christmas in July! Join us as we prepare cutlery packs for Cornerstone Baptist Church’s Christmas meal. Cornerstone pastor Chris Simmons will share about the work Cornerstone does in South Dallas. Lunch is $5 each — a Christmas special.

Wednesday, Aug. 7
Empowering the Masses, 11 a.m.–1:15 p.m.
We’ll take another field trip to Empowering the Masses, a nonprofit that empowers our neighbors by providing life skills and educational training services. Carpool from the church. Lunch on your own.
