Lunch & Learn

Open to everyone and held the first and third Wednesdays every month, Lunch & Learn features a buffet lunch in Community Hall followed by Bible study led by a Wilshire minister. Lunch costs $10 per person. No reservation needed. Contact: Barbara Clayton.

Sept. 4: Intro to the Books of Samuel (and to our new pastoral residents). Led by Charlie Fuller, Pathways to Ministry director.

Sept. 18: “Samuel: Judge of Prophecy” (1 Samuel 1-12). Led by Associate Pastor Darren DeMent.

Oct. 2: “Saul” (1 Samuel 13 & 15). Led by Senior Pastor Timothy Peoples.

Oct. 16: “The Rise of David” (1 Samuel 16-20). Led by Pastoral Resident Georgia McKee.

Nov. 6: “The Character of David” (1 Samuel 22 – 2 Samuel 3). Led by Pastoral Resident Maggie Morey.

Nov. 20: “David’s Kingship” (2 Samuel 5-7). Led by Minister to Senior Adults Katie Murray.

Dec. 4: “Bathsheba” (2 Samuel 11-12). Led by Associate Pastor Heather Mustain.

Dec. 18: “David’s Decline” (2 Samuel 13-24). Led by Associate Pastor Darren DeMent.
