Immigration Court Observer Training

Wilshire will host a training for immigration court observers on Saturday, Sept. 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Community Hall. Neighbors across Dallas are coming together at immigration court to bear witness and stand alongside our immigrant neighbors. This orientation led by Noemi Rios of Vecinos Unidos (Neighbors United) DFW will introduce you to what’s happening in Dallas immigration courts and how you can be a welcoming, supportive presence. Volunteers assist families by helping them find their courtroom, offering ways to engage children while they wait and observing hearings to take notes. Join us to learn how your presence can bring dignity and hope in a challenging space.
