AWAB Lectureship

Wilshire will host the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists’ Annual Lectureship on Monday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. A dessert reception will follow. The event’s speaker will be Rev. Dr. Susan Shaw, a professor of women, gender and sexuality at Oregon State University. An ordained Baptist minister who now makes her home in the United Church of Christ, Shaw’s most recent book is Reflective Faith: A Theological Toolbox for Women. She is a contributor to Baptist News Global, HuffPost and other publications. Wilshire members receive a discount on the registration fee.
