Jordann McMahan joined Wilshire as a pastoral resident in August 2025 after completing a Master of Divinity degree in May 2025 from Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University. At Truett she was honored as a CBF Vestal Scholar and served as co-president of Truett’s Women in Ministry Student Organization. She also was a Baylor residence hall chaplain, worked for Truett as associate director of recruitment and served as an administrative intern for Baptist Women in Ministry. Jordann is a licensed spiritual director through Truett.
Jordann grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and was ordained by her home church there, Gayton Baptist. She earned a B.A. in philosophy with a concentration in religious studies from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Jordann has been a ministry associate at Freemason Street Baptist and Talbot Park Baptist, both in Norfolk, and completed mentoring field work at Calvary Baptist in Waco.
