A note from Librarian Barbara Peterson and the Library Committee:
I know many of you are wondering how the work in the Library is going. As you know, we are a very busy church, and there have been lots of events that have prohibited us from doing work in the Library, but I think we are back on a schedule. This past Friday and Monday, the Library was painted, and on Tuesday carpet was installed. We will be mapping out the arrangement of the shelves, and then can install them. We will need some volunteers to help with the shelving installation on Saturday, Nov. 23. After that we will need more help moving the boxes of books out of storage and shelving them. When all the books are on the shelves, we will be ready to open. The Library is celebrating its 70th birthday this year, and the new look will indeed make for a Happy Birthday!
