Children and the Enneagram
Parents, grandparents, teachers or anyone who works with children will benefit from a special seminar at Wilshire on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Guest speakers Joey and Billy Schewee of the @enneagramparents Instagram account will lead us in exploring how your Enneagram type and that of children in your care inform our engagement and relationships. Prior Enneagram knowledge is not required. The seminar will be held in Community Hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A $10 per-person cost will cover lunch, snacks, water and coffee.

Joey and Billy Schewee have been students of the Enneagram for 26 years. As an “8” married to a “9,” their application of this impactful tool began as young adults when they learned the Enneagram from Joey’s mother, Suzanne Stabile, and flows through dating and marriage, raising children and managing employees and work relationships in careers that span the educational and corporate realms. Both Joey and Billy have a genuine passion for teaching the Enneagram and have done so in a myriad of sectors for 16 years. Joey consults full-time in corporate America utilizing the Enneagram as a foundational tool for improving employee communication, and Billy earned his Ed.D. through exploration and application of the Enneagram in education. They have used their teaching and parenting experience to develop an intuitive curriculum for families seeking practical application of Enneagram wisdom. Check them out on Instagram and join them on Nov. 2 as they cover Enneagram basics that will include parenting from a triad perspective, appropriate age for determining your child’s Enneagram type, and the benefits of recognizing your child’s stance for meeting intuitive needs.
